Olive Shoot Children's Ministry

Our Children’s ministry goal is the constant conversation from our pulpit
and congregation regarding Family Worship, the use of Catechism questions, and the need for
Children’s Ministry to be parent driven from the home. The ministry of the church is meant to
both partner with parents and equip them in their role as the primary evangelists and disciple-
makers of their children.

Children's church
11am

Children ages 4 years old through 5th grade begin the Sunday Morning Worship Service in the sanctuary with their parents. We believe it is vitally important for children to see their parents and other adults participating in prayer, singing, the public reading of Scripture, and giving.

Once those elements of the Worship Service are complete, the children are dismissed to Children’s Church where they will hear lessons that take them through the main story line of the Bible every year. There are 30 lessons from the Old Testament and 20 lessons from the New Testament. Every lesson shows how the story is tied to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and features a take home sheet for parents to use in review during Family Worship throughout the week.
